Fun Things For Kids in Nashville, Tn

Coming to visit our fine city of Nashville, Tn and bringing some kids along? Well, there's lot of stuff for them to do while their stay that should keep them very entertained. Think about the things your kids love to do in your town, well we probably have those same things - just different, maybe good and all the time fun.

We have a great science museum here that's a bit more like St. Louis's City Museum than it is a science museum. In the town of the museum is a climbing tower that take you all the way up to a glass atrium above the museum roof. To teach the kids about pulleys, there's car suspended by ropes that the kids can lift and lower, there's even a weightlessness accommodation for your budding astronauts.

Just west of town at the Bellevue (Highway 70) exit is the Red Caboose Park. This huge wooden castle structure is hours of fun. There's even a real, red caboose to climb on, get in and play around. While the kids play - enjoy the walking track around the playground area. This play structure is the biggest in Nashville if you don't count the giant play structure in the Nashville Zoo.

Finally, if your kids are the shopping type, the Green Hills area of town (Hillsboro Road and Woodmont Boulevard) has all the big names like Life is Good, Five Guys, Whole Foods (where Nicole Kidman is often seen walking about), Gap, Cheesecake Factory, resumption Hardward and movie theatres. If it's raining, pack up the car and head over to Green Hills.
